Rosé all day!
Until last year, pink Prosecco was not recognized as a D.O.C. wine. However, on October 15th 2020 the Italian Government announced they would now allow a rosè Prosecco to be made. It must be produced in either The Veneto of Friuli Region and consist of a minimum 85% Glera grapes and rounded out with no more than 15% Pinot Noir. It is exciting for Italian winemakers to be able to experiment with the new guidelines and create an entirely new style of wine.

Our Rosé Prosecco is the Carra. It is 85% Glera and 15% Pinot Noir. It is from the town of Conegliano in the Veneto region. The color is pale pink with thin elegant bubbles. On the nose it is fruity, with bold strawberry and pomegranate. The taste is dry with a medium body and long pleasant finish.
